My dear brothers and sisters 🤍, I stand before you today with a message of love, redemption, and divine purpose. We live in a world burdened by sin, weighed down by its consequences—pain, suffering, and separation from God. Sin is not just the wrong things we do; it is a condition of the heart, a separation from the holiness of God. The Bible tells us, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (
Romans 6:23)✨
But there is hope! Jesus Christ came into this world to heal, to restore, and to set us free from the power of sin. When Jesus walked the earth, He demonstrated God's love by forgiving sins and healing the broken. In John 8, we see the story of the woman caught in adultery—condemned by the law, yet forgiven by grace. Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" (John 8:11).
We see His healing touch in the man born blind (John 9), in the paralytic let down through the roof (Mark 2:1-12), in the lepers He cleansed(Luke 17:11-19 ). These miracles were not just physical healings—they were signs that Jesus had come to restore humanity to its rightful place with God.
Why Did God Send Jesus? 🎁
God sent Jesus for one reason: love. Not to condemn us, but to save us. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), humanity has been separated from God. But God, in His infinite mercy, made a plan to bring us back to Him. This plan was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He is the bridge between heaven and earth, the way back to the Father. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
The Connection Between the Father and the Son⚜️
Jesus and the Father are one. When Philip, one of the disciples, asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus replied, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).
Jesus was not just a prophet, a teacher, or a healer—He was God in the flesh. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:1,14).
He came to reveal the heart of the Father, a heart full of mercy, compassion, and justice. He spoke only what the Father told Him to speak (John 12:49). He did only what He saw the Father doing (John 5:19). Through Jesus, we see the very nature of God.
The Covenant: A New Relationship with God 🔐
Before Jesus, the people of God lived under the Old Covenant—a system of laws, sacrifices, and rituals to atone for sin. But this was only temporary. The blood of animals could never fully remove sin (Hebrews 10:4).
Jesus came to establish a New Covenant—one written not on tablets of stone, but on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:31-33). Through His death on the cross, He became the final sacrifice. "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" (Matthew 26:28).
Now, through faith in Jesus, we are no longer slaves to sin but children of God. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
The Holy Spirit and the Trinity ⭐
Jesus did not leave us alone. After His resurrection, He promised to send the Holy Spirit—the very presence of God within us. "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever" (John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit is our teacher, our guide, and our comforter. He empowers us to live holy lives and to walk in the power of God.
This is the beauty of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three persons, yet one God. They work in perfect unity to accomplish our salvation. The Father sent the Son, the Son redeemed us, and the Spirit now dwells in us.
God’s Love and Our Purpose 🙏🏾
Why did God create us? Simply put—love. We were made in His image (Genesis 1:27) to reflect His glory, to walk in relationship with Him, and to be His children. But sin corrupted this purpose.
Yet, through Jesus, we are restored. "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!" (1 John 3:1).
We are not here by accident. We are not mistakes. We are created for a purpose—to know God, to love Him, and to make His love known.
A Call to Receive Jesus 👑🤍🤍🤍🤍
My friends, the invitation is open. Jesus stands with open arms, ready to forgive, ready to heal, ready to restore. If you are weary, come to Him (Matthew 11:28). If you are bound by sin, He will set you free.
Will you receive Him today? Will you walk away from the world and into His grace?
Let us pray:
"Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Spirit and help me to walk in Your ways. Amen."
May God bless you all, and may His love shine through you always!
